Welding Blankets

A welding blanket is a piece of safety equipment designed to protect equipment and surrounding areas from sparks and spatter while welding or grinding.

CIS can supply welding blankets in standard sizes of 2m x 1m, 2m x 2m etc. or can supply custom made blankets in any size to suit our customers specific requirements.

We can supply fabrics suitable for medium duty applications with sparks and small amounts of welding spatter. These fabrics are robust, durable, and have good resistance to everyday welding and grinding applications. They are suitable for temperatures up to 550°C.

We can also supply fabrics with proven performance against direct flame from a blow torch, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1000°C. These fabrics can hold molten metal slag until cool without burning through the surface.
